Decibullz was founded in 2012 by Kyle Kirkpatrick in Fort Collins, Colorado. The brand became known for its re-moldable earplugs that use thermoplastic heated in hot water to conform precisely to the user’s ear shape, pioneering a DIY approach to custom hearing protection.

Product offerings include earplugs and in-ear compatible filters (such as Percussive Shooting Filters), as well as communication and high-fidelity modules. Decibullz products are defined by secure fit, all-day comfort, high Noise Reduction Rating (NRR 31), and battery-free, maintenance-free operation.
