Beretta PX4 Storm SD Type F .45 ACP
Special Duty pistol developed for SOCOM requirements
The Beretta PX4 Storm SD Type F was engineered to meet the extremely demanding specifications issued by the US Special Forces Command (SOCOM) for the Joint Combat Pistol program. This was not a simple caliber change, but a complete redesign of internal components to ensure maximum reliability in extreme environments.
Engineered for extreme operational conditions
The SD designation stands for Special Duty, reflecting a pistol designed to function in the harshest conditions. Military trials confirmed reliable performance in mud, sand, rain, snow, water and salt exposure, thanks to specially treated and engineered internal components.
Rotating barrel system for reduced recoil
The rotating barrel system dissipates recoil forces radially, resulting in noticeably reduced felt recoil and muzzle rise. The cold hammer forged 114mm barrel ensures consistent accuracy and optimal performance of the .45 ACP cartridge.
Tactical features
This model features a double/single-action trigger, an ambidextrous safety and decocker (Type F), commander-style hammer and 3-dot sight system. The integrated Picatinny rail allows mounting of tactical accessories, while the tool-free disassembly supports professional use.
