C•A•T® Resources is the original manufacturer of the Combat Application Tourniquet® (C-A-T), a one-handed tourniquet system introduced by the U.S. Army in 2005. It has since become the global standard for rapidly controlling life-threatening bleeding from limbs.

The latest version, the C-A-T® GEN7, features a redesigned single-routing buckle for quicker application, a beefier windlass rod with improved grip, reinforced fixation components, and a time-stamped Velcro strap. All six core elements were upgraded, further enhancing its effectiveness – critical in life-or-death scenarios.
