Energizer

Energizer traces its roots to the Eveready Battery Company, whose Alkaline Power Cell was renamed Energizer in 1980. Energizer Holdings was established in 2000 as an independent publicly traded company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, and is now among the world’s largest producers of primary batteries and portable lighting. Its brands include Energizer, Eveready, Rayovac, and Varta (licenses outside Europe).

The company is recognized for numerous innovations: the first 9-volt battery, the first premium AA alkaline battery, the first lithium AA cell, as well as modern lithium and sustainability lines such as Energizer EcoAdvanced, which incorporates recycled materials.
