The hat is equipped with mesh eyelets that improve air circulation. Inside the hat there is a reflective material that can be useful for marking the wearer or indicating their position in an emergency. The Boonie Hat Mk2 has a unique loop that allows it to be attached to the Raid uniform shirt.
