Norma

Norma Precision was founded in 1902 by the Enger brothers in Åmotfors, Sweden, and has grown into a global leader in small-caliber ammunition. The name originates from the opera “Norma” by Bellini, not from Norway.

With over 120 years of expertise, Norma produces around 30 million cartridges annually across more than 100 calibers, serving hunters, sport shooters, and reloaders. Notable innovations include .308 Norma Magnum, .338 Norma Magnum, and hunting rounds like Vulkan, Oryx, and the lead-free Ecostrike series.

Acquired by Beretta Holding in 2022, Norma remains independently operated in Sweden, while expanding international production—such as MHP and NXD lines produced in the USA and Hungary.
