Material
The aim of the Advanced Combat Pants - to provide robust workwear for authorities and military users - is based primarily on the choice of materials. Instead of thin fabrics that are often used, our medium-weight 245g/m2 65/35 PolyCotton blend provides a solid base against the most adverse circumstances. The fabric features a textile-engineered near infrared (nIR) treatment to reduce the visual signature when viewed through modern military night vision goggles.
Original TWEAVE Durastretch 4-way stretch material from US production is used in the knee, back and crotch area. The knee capping is made of CORDURA 500D nylon. YKK zippers and original VELCRO in the color / camouflage pattern of the trousers complete the range of high-quality materials.
As always, the materials used were produced according to our specifications and all components were color-matched with other PITCHFORK Systems products in the same color. This way we achieve not only a high grade of usability but also a great overall look and unparalleled quality.
Design
The waistband is adjusted using continuously adjustable elastic straps. Foam inserts in the waistband ensure high comfort.
The thigh pockets deliberately placed towards the front, which are also accessible in a seated position thanks to large openings and vertical zippers, as well as double-reinforced communication pockets placed directly next to them, accommodate frequently used equipment. The main pockets can also be closed with a large button, with Velcro or both at the same time. Angled back pockets remain accessible even when gear is carried on a wide battle belt.
High-quality 4-way stretch in the area of the back, around the knees and in the crotch area guarantees the wearer increased freedom of movement without sacrificing durability. The knee area has an internal pocket for the insertion of knee pads, covered on the outside by a CORDURA 500D surface that easily withstands repeated abrasions. Thanks to a concealed system, the height of the knee area in the trouser pockets can be continuously adjusted. Additional lateral straps at the back of the knee enable precise adjustment of the pad position.
The leg ends have elastic ShockCords for width adjustment and a shoelace hook so that they always stay in place. Additional reinforcements at all neuralgic points of the pants support the strong overall build.
