Prvi Partizan was founded in 1928 as the “Weapons and Ammunition Factory Užice” and later renamed. Based in Užice, Serbia, it has grown into one of Europe's largest and most versatile ammunition manufacturers.

Producing over 400 types of rifle, pistol, revolver, blank and training ammunition across three production sites, the brand is noted for rare cartridge calibers like 7.92×33 mm Kurz and 8×50 mm Lebel as well as modern lines such as MHP and NXD. Major modernization efforts—including a new facility completed in 2013—have significantly enhanced production capacity and technical capabilities.
