Steyr Arms – Austrian Firearms Maker with Heritage since 1886Steyr Arms traces its heritage to the Austrian Weapons Factory founded in Steyr in 1864. The firearms division spun off as Steyr Mannlicher in 1989, and was renamed Steyr Arms on January 1, 2019. Its headquarters, including R&D and manufacturing, is located in Kleinraming, Austria, with additional operations in the United States. The company produces a wide range of firearms, from hunting bolt-action rifles like the Monobloc, to sniper rifles, the AUG bullpup assault rifle, pistols, and law enforcement equipment. Historical models include the Mannlicher–Schönauer and the AUG. The Monobloc features a one-piece machined steel barrel and action housing.
