Weapon Ordering

Information NON-FIREARMS

In order to purchase a non-firearm a contract must be signed and kept for at least 10 years by both parties. A weapon purchasing licence as it is needed for real firearms is not required. But the buyer must be at least 18 years of age and he/she must be able to present an official document such as a passport, an identity card or a Swiss resident permit C. The acquisition by foreign nationals without a residence permit requires a firearms acquisition certificate (process also applies to diplomats). Without these documents we are unable to ship weapons.

Order procedure

1. You kindly place your order online
2. We provide you with the contract and all information needed by e-mail
3. You print & sign the contract and return it together with a copy of the above mentioned ID papers
4. We send you the order as registered mail

It is not allowed to sell weapons to persons who present a potential thread to themselves or to a third party. Further it is not allowed to sell weapons to citizens of the following states: Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Algeria, Albania.


Information FIREARMS & ACCESSORIES SUBJECT TO APPROVAL

Antique Weapons - No firearms acquisition permit is required for the purchase of antique firearms (manufactured before 1870). However, the buyer must be of legal age. Please submit an identification document for verification (ID card, Swiss passport, residence permit C). The orderer and recipient must match the ID document.

Reportable Weapons - No firearms acquisition permit is required for the purchase of reportable firearms (hunting weapons, Swiss ordnance bolt-action rifles, bolt-action rifles without a folding stock, and barrels over 45cm in length). However, the buyer must be of legal age, and a contract must be signed. One copy of the contract will be sent to the buyer with the delivery, one copy will go to the cantonal authorities, and the third copy will remain with the seller.

Gun Purchase Permit - A cantonal gun purchase permit is required for the purchase of these weapons (magazine capacity for rifles up to 10 rounds, total length over 60cm, not a hunting weapon; magazine capacity for pistols up to 20 rounds). Please contact the cantonal firearms office in your residential canton for issuing the permit.

Exception Permit Small Sports Shooter - For the purchase of these weapons (magazine capacity for handguns over 10 rounds and pistols over 20 rounds) an exception permit small sports shooters is required . Please contact the cantonal firearms office in your residential canton for issuing the permit.

Exception Permit Small Collectors - For the purchase of these weapons (magazine capacity over 10 rounds and/or reducible to a total length of less than 60 cm without functional impairment) an exception permit small collectors is required . Please contact the cantonal firearms office in your residential canton for issuing the permit.

Exception Permit Large - A large exception permit is required for the purchase of these weapons/accessories (automatic firearms, prohibited accessories). Please contact the cantonal firearms office in your residential canton for issuing the permit.

Ordering Process

1. You kindly place your order online
2. After receiving the order, we will send you information on firearm purchase via email
3. You send us the required documents (officially issued permits in original!) along with the copy of the ID
4. We deliver your order by registered mail
