Overview

The B&T USW-A1 was developed in response to the evolving security situation in Europe, particularly terrorist threats involving rifles and explosive vests. Standard service pistols were insufficient against such dangers. The Universal Service Weapon (USW) provides first responders with a tool to effectively intervene in critical incidents. The USW-A1 combines the size of a duty pistol with the capability of a carbine, thanks to its foldable stock and integrated optics.
